Anna Kraynikova (Soprano)
Born in Magadan in 1984. In 2003 she completed her training at the College of
the Performing Arts, in the town of Kamyshin, Volgograd region. In 2008 she
graduated from the Moscow V.S. Popov Academy of Choral Art (Dmitry Vdovin’s
class).
In 2007 and 2008 she participated in the International Vocal
School, where she studied with leading singing teachers, among whom were
Giandomenico Bisi and Guida Gloria Borrelli (Italy), Richard Bado and Diane Zola
(USA, Grand Opera Houston ), Leonore Rosenberg (USA, Metropolitan Opera). In
April 2008, under the auspices of the International Vocal School, she made her
debut in a concert performance as Contessa di Folleville in Rossini’s Il
Viaggio a Reims. She took part in the Moscow Enlightenment Music
Festival where, conducted by Alexander Rudin, she sang the soprano role in
Haydn’s Teresienmesse.
Since December 2008 she has been on an
opera program course at Bologna Opera House where she sang the parts of Yvette
and Lisette (Puccini’s La Rondine), Norina (Donizetti’s Don
Pasquale) and Musetta (Puccini’s La Boheme).
In January
2010 she made her Bolshoi Theatre debut as Musetta (La Boheme). In the
same year she sang Tatiana (Eugene Onegin).
