To the association - legend, to the association - veteran - the large symphonic orchestra im. Tschaikovsky in 2005 were carried out 75 years. Here already more than 30 years this orchestra heads the people artist OF THE USSR, the laureate of State Prizes Vladimir Fedoseev.
From the very first steps the association presented himself as one of the best symphonic orchestras of the country. Being the orchestra of All-Union radio, it found the multimillion-person audience, which it knew how to preserve for long years. Many records, realized BY BSO on the radio, television and in the recording studio, are today acknowledged standard.
For Vladimir Fedoseev, who dedicated itself to the long-standing selfless work with BSO, it was possible not only to preserve the high traditions of orchestra, but also to derive its on the qualitatively new level. And now orchestra preserves for himself status of one of the leading symphonic associations on the international scene, which attained themselves world acknowledgement as the salient interpretations and their national and foreign music.
